The Shortlisted with Judge's comments

~lpowellGodeater

The Godeater was a great villain, with a suitably chilling description. There was something haunting and nursery rhyme-like about the final line as well.

*oedipa - Tres Sorores

Some nicely drawn characters here, and some clever use of language.

*PicksyA man and his cow

I chose this one because it read most like a traditional fable, but also had a neat sci-fi twist. I particularly liked the ambiguity of it, is this a straight forward morality tale, or a piece of dogma to scare children into being "networked"?

~365-leap - Sky Dog

I thought this was a great little creation myth, full of neat little explanations for the world we see around us. The idea of the sun as a "bright yellow rectum" made me smile.

~SirKuddles - Death Through Creation

I really liked the idea of Death having an origin story. Though I wish I knew what Death's brother's name was...

The Winners
