There's nothing more saddening and disgusting than seeing people supporting genocide. It breaks my heart to see young people brainwashed like this, thinking it's alright to support murder and celebrate such serious mental illnesses as patriotism and nationalism. By supporting a crime you're a criminal as well, committing crimes against humanity.

War is against art, and everything DA is all about. Art is about creation, war is about destruction. By supporting war you're not only supporting destruction, you're against art as well. You're putting DA to shame by doing this here.

Please seek help while you still can. You can get better.

It's okay to have your opinion, and to voice it. But since you chose to voice this opinion, I feel the need to voice mine as well.

I'm a disabled veteran from the United States Army. I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have to go over to Iraq, but every single one of my friends in the military has been there at least once. I'd like to think my friends over there get care packages from their families every week, but I know they don't.

Most people don't enlist just so they can have the opportunity to shoot someone, or are hopeful that a new war will break out so they can be separated from their families for a year. I know I didn't enlist for any of those reasons!

Supporting soldiers doesn't mean that you support the war. It means that you realize they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. No matter what that soldier wants to be doing, whether supporting the war or against it, they HAVE to be there. The only other option is to disobey a direct order and get themselves dishonorably discharged from the military. In case you didn't know this, a dishonorable discharge will follow them for the rest of their lives. To my knowledge, it's the equivalent of being charged and convicted of a felony.

She's not suggesting we draw a bunch of artwork that advocates "KILL KILL KILL!" She's suggesting we show those soldiers that they're not forgotten people. They're out there watching comrades die, watching children of that country suffer, and unable to watch their own children's first steps. Why are they there? Because they chose to defend their country. Do I think that this war is absolutely necessary or considered "defending our country?" No. But, I realize that they have no choice. Despite my viewpoints on the war, I wouldn't hesitate to send those soldiers something to make it easier for them to get through at least one day.

Honestly, I think your post goes beyond sharing your opinion to the point of suggesting there's something wrong with her as an individual because of her viewpoints. You sound like you would like to "cure" her of some sort of illness!

Luckily, I'm of a different mindset. I believe that people are entitled to their own opinions. My ultimate response to your opinion is,

Support people who participate in murder. Are you kidding me? Do you want to create a tribute to Jack the Ripper next? Or maybe Unabomber? Only someone who's very seriously brainwashed, and/or mentally ill (eg. with antisocial personality disorder) could agree to participate in this project.

How would you feel if someone posted an article here on DA asking for contributions to an art book aimed at murderers in the death row? To support them, to remind them that they are dying for the right thing (to approximately quote the original, sickening piece of antisocial propaganda that we're commenting on). Or an art book voicing support at pedophiles? It's as if the society has lost all its moral backbone.

Yeah, let's support people even if they voluntarily participate in crimes against humanity. Genocide is alright, because we're brainwashed to believe this way. People who are willing to believe things like this are mentally very ill and need to seek treatment.

Genocide, if given the chance that's exactly what those terrorists would love to do, they'd love to wipe out all infidels and non-believers. Are you Muslim or Islamic? If not then guess what, you're on their shit list too!

You want to accuse the soldiers of Genocide then maybe because if you count the Terrorists as a political group, but we're not there to wipe out all Muslims or Islamics, we're just there to get rid of the terrorists, and actually to help the local peaceful people learn how to stand up for themselves and not let extremists like the Osama run over them!

First of all id like to say until your behind the scenes of the war and serve in it do not come to conclusions. Your making yourself look quite foolish for acting like you know everything about the war and your making your self look very immature at not only attacking someone in an unproffesional manner but for telling someone there mentally ill. On the other hand i dont support the war, infact in my opinion I really wish it would end, but I know what those soldiers go through and I know how lonely and desperate it gets. Our soldiers are not the murderers Miss, our soldiers are the protectors. They get murdered by the handful to make sure that you sleep sound in your bed at night without bombs going off outside your window. My words might not have much effect to your ubsurb opinions but they are they truth cause i speak the truth. The middle east is doomed by war and anarchy from the bible itself that is another reason I find the fact that bush is trying to fix the middle east ignorant but i will do everything in my power to make sure there isnt more soldiers commiting suicide because they are put out by people like you, in a way you are the murders. Every single soldier supports war. If they didn't, they wouldn't go to the army. You cannot force someone to join. You cannot force someone to go to war or to kill people. They do it voluntarily.
