Welcome to the weekly Help Desk news. In these weekly updates we will attempt to bring you the most up to date information, as well as provide some helpful hints for super duper deviantART fun.

This week I would like to discuss the importance of checking the
Status Forum. What all can you find in the Status Forum? Currently the status of major bugs, the weekly Bug Juice Articles, and links to the Weekly Help Desk Updates can all be found in the Status Forum.
If you are experiencing a bug the best thing to do is check through the recent posts to see if there is a posting on the issue in question you are experiencing. In addition to these individualized posts $
hexentanz has created a whole thread for all current bugs called "Bug Juice". This thread is resubmitted every week and contains a full list of all current and recently resolved bugs. We recommend that you check the Status Forum often to keep up to date on the status of these issues.
In addition to bugs the Status Forum also contains a weekly post linking to the "Weekly Help Desk Updates" News Article.

Hi guys! In the past I've written about how important it is to be detailed in your
Help Desk inquiries. This week I'd to remind everyone that your tickets should be as clear as possible. Just like a vague ticket, a ticket we can not fully understand will take longer to resolve.
For example,
"I got up this morning and my dog unplugged my computer I was late for school and now art needs help again I don't know whats going on this is nuts" doesn't tell us much, tells us TOO much and it isn't very clear. We gals at the help desk don't need to know every detail of everything that was happening around you when you experienced the problem. Take care in describing what happened to you
on dA, give us details and remember a run-on sentence that goes on for 20 lines isn't going to help us help you.
"I'm not sure what's going on but my artwork will not post to the site. I get an error saying to try again later." gives us just enough information to get the
Help Desk ball rolling. It's clear, to the point and doesn't include any unnecessary information about your mother's dog and the 18 puppies it gave birth to that morning.
