Use these four pictures in any random order, and write something out of the images. The photos are (in alphabetical order by photographer):
There will be two categories:
poetry and
prose. Stories should be quite short (less than 1,000 words). Poems can be pretty much any length, as long as you don't write an epic or anything. If you want to write in another style (like playscripts), that's fine, just keep it pretty short. If you're not sure whether your writing will go in poetry or prose, feel free to send me a note.
Keep an eye on
this journal to get more updated info on the contest - there's going to be a lot more stuff being added along the way.
1. Link your entry to me
by note, stating which category you're entering.
2. Entries will be accepted any time until September 30th. That gives y'all plenty of time to write

3. Voting will be different this time, and more details will come closer to the end of the contest.
4. Keep all material to a PG-13 level.
5. Prizes will be put on the journal listed above as they come. The prizes will be the same for poetry and prose categories. Donations are gratefully accepted. You can enter even if you're donating a prize.
6. One entry per account.
Good luck to everyone who enters!
