Hey everyone,

I saw around dA many contests regarding photo manipulations and all kind of contests like this.
But behind all those great photo manipulations there are great stocks, that, i think, don't receive the attention they deserve.

That's why i created this "Stock Awards" contest. At the moment this is just an idea so i still need some judges and some prize-givers. If you are interested in being a judge or prize-giver send ~Dsva a note with the title Stock Awards 2007, or of course if you have some ideas regarding the contest.

There will be several CATEGORIES where deviants can enter:

+ People and Animals Stocks
+ Background and Places Stocks
+ Textures
+ 3D Models
+ Objects Stocks
+ Packs

Every entry will gather a final score. That score will be consisted of the points (from 1 to 10) gathered in these categories:

+ Resolution
+ Clarity
+ Frame, Cut, Crop
+ Layout
+ Usage (how many deviants used your stock)
+ Difficulty of usage (how easy can you cut or remove unnecessary parts)

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE


All you have to do is send a note with the title "Stock Awards 2007" and mention that you want to participate! The judges will closely take a look at your stock gallery, and give you the points your stocks deserve.



The Winner gets the "Stock Awards 2007 Winner" title. This except the prizes from prize-givers.


The contest will start as soon as we have the prizes and the judges. (Pls if you are interested don't hesitate to contact me)



*For the prize-givers*

Prizes should be: Subscription, Feature, Prints, dA related (dA dollars, dA clothes, etc) CSS Layouts, NOTHING OUTSIDE DEVIANTART! (money, gifts and stuff like that). Anyone can help even by posting in you journal a link to this contest to make it popular.



*For the judges*

If you participate you cannot be a judge or if you are a judge you cannot participate. All the points will be approved by all judges before the final score, so to remove the "helping a friend" thingy.

- CSS Layout for first place + Feature (as soon as i get a subscription)
