Decided to hold a contest, the theme is to pick a song lyric and express it in a picture. Contest runs from today(august 24th) til september 24th, a week for voting afterwards.

Rules::
1.the song can't be by you.
2. you must send the lyrics, artist, and song title.
3.you don't have to be my friend to enter.
4. song lyrics must be a phrase, not a single word like "love" or "clean."
5. one submission per person
6. the piece must be a photograph, keep manipulation down to a minimum. (black and white, sepia selective color and color are all accepted)
7. please dont find lyrics that pertain to an already existing picture, take a picture to represent the lyrics you've chosen, makes it harder and more fun
8. The lyrics must have something to do with the picture, please don't send a picture that has nothing to do with the attached lyrics.

How to submit::
Send an note titled contest submission to me, including a thumb of your entry, the lyrics you're trying to represent, and the artist of the piece. And any additional comments you have on it.

Prizes:: The first place winner will receive a 3 month subscription, a feature on my page, along their choice of three of their photos to be featured in my journal. Second place will receive a month long feature in my journal of their piece and one other piece of their choice. Third place will receive a feature of their contest entry in my journal.
