reports, 2d 11h agoThe winners of the Breaking Free contest have been announced! Amongst the entries were a daily deviation, a news feature and many stunning pieces of space art. The aim of my contest was take a piece I had rendered in Vue 6 and manipped a smoketrail into, and "spacify it" - that is use it as a stock to make a space related piece of art.

reports, August 26, 2007~MysticNitekatt is holding a contest to celebrate the many catgirls he has faved. Here are the rules, please read them thoroughly:
1) Entries can be of any media you could possibly think of: traditional, digital, 3D, cosplay, photomanipulation, color, black and white, ANYTHING GOES! Fanart and tribute art are acceptable as well.
2) ALL ENTRIES MUST BE NEW TO deviantART. The works themselves can be older, as long as they have not been posted to dA before.
3) There is no limit to the number of entries.
4) Post a link to your entry on MysticNitekatt's Journal. Any updates on the contest will also be there, so please check for updates. Also he will answer any questions you may have.
5) Deadline is September 30.
Prizes: A $20 eBay gift certificate and the title of "MysticNitekatt's Official Catgirl of 2007"
If there is a tie, he may split the prize to $10 certificates to each artist.
DONATED PRIZES WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! If prizes are donated they will be posted in MysticNitekatt's Journal, be sure to check for updates!
