Historical fact of the day: 27th August 1883 – The most powerful volcanic eruption recorded in history happened this day on the Krakatau, Indonesia. The explosions could be heard 2000 miles away in Australia. 36000 people died from the result of this eruption.

Photo tip of the day: Always consider taking the same picture in the horizontal and vertical position. Sometimes we forget to consider vertical, and a new perspective can open with good results.
