Let me say this first, this is not a paying job. Sorry, this isn't necessarily a paying job, just a way to become part of a major and probably first dA and art related magazine. And BECAUSE this is not a paying job, I will not expect you to work as hard as if it were a real job where you were paid. First things first- what you'll be working with my team on:

This is the magazine so far, view it and download it to view the .pdf.
Now the jobs:
Article Writer (and interveiewer)
Duty: To write articles of various lengths (I won't make you do an essay, trust me) and to retrieve interviews for me/ make an article out of them. I'll tell you how we'll go about doing that.
Minimum Requirements: Somewhat good grammer. Microsoft Word 2003 or higher. The ability to write a paragraph. The ability to act professionally (such as when doing interviews or typing serious articles). Lastly, Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher.
The most important thing is having Microsoft Word.
Editor
Duty: To go through the magazine and fix mistakes and edit things.
Minimum Requirements: A good eye for mistakes. Being able to read a whole magazine once or twice for mistakes. Microsoft Word 2003 or higher and Adobe Reader 5.0 or higher.
Same thing is important.
Note: I am the editor-and-chief, so I will
probably be doing final revisions.
Art Coordinator and Designer
Duty: You help me with doing the colors, making some small art if necessary, finding art to use in the magazine, and, you know, coordinating the art in the magazine so it end product looks nice. You
may have to
occasionally interview, but I seriously doubt it.
Minimum Requirements: Microsoft Paint. Good design sense. Microsoft Word and Adobe Reader 5.0. The ability to make art of a certain quality (I will need to see some examples of your work).
It helps alot if you can do small pictures (the ability to do chibis helps too.)
Artist
Duty: Making art and designs. This includes making/helping with the logo and overall design. (You don't HAVE to do the logo, but why wouldn't you want to?)
Minimum Requirements: The ability to make art really. Just show me some of your work and we will talk about it.
(Microsoft Word and Adobe Reader help)
Interviewer
Duty: To Interveiw
Minimum Requirements: Take a somewhat professional and quality interview, good communication skills, and be able to ask request an interveiw with someone. You have to have a way to type down interveiws using Microsoft Notepad, WordPerfect, Microsoft, a dA note, anything is fine really. (You don't HAVE to have Adobe Reader, but it would help)
All employees will be expected to be able to write a review of some art on a scale of 1 to 10 occasionally and a minimum of 2-3 sentences what you did and didn't like, how you think it could be better, etc. This is not strenuous and if you don't wish to do this, please tell me and we will talk about it.
IT WOULD HELP A LOT IF YOU HAVE MSN MESSENGER AND IF SO, PLEASE TELL ME! You have to have messenger unless you have a reason why you can't have it, just tell me and we can work out some other contact method.
Please, if you have a job you'd like to do you think a magazine could use, notify me. I'll be looking forward to choosing a team by the end of the month, so please apply.
What's to Gain from all this?
1. Publicity, TONS of people will get to know you and you'll get more pageviews.
2. Practice, say you want to improve your art, writing skils, communication skills, etc for some reason? This is the place to start.
3. You will get to work with a friendly team and ALWAYS be helped out and get your say in things. I promise everyone will get there fair share in decisions and such.
4. You can print this out and give it to your friends. You didn't do ALL of it, but how would they know? But don't go around the web and such telling everyone you made it. This is a team effort, so everyone gets credit for it.
It'd be great if you put the magazine somewhere on your page so people could see it. If you need ANY assistance, please contact me. I'm looking forward to having you join the team. Oh, and thanks for reading this huge article.
The Issue we'll be working on/finishing is this one

OR the next one (hopefully coming soon)
Tell me if you have any questions. I will personally train all of you in your jobs so you won't go in inexperience and wondering wtf your supposed to do or how to do it. You can also switch around your job so you don't have to do the same thing and never get a choice to do something different. Thanks for reading and I hope to have you join the team.
