$Moonbeam13 has been participating in this event for the past 4 and soon to be 5 years, she's given a lot for this great cause and now it's time for more people to do what they can to help out!

Can't donate? Miscats

What is a miscat?

A miscat is an image placed in the wrong gallery, for example, your doodle being posted in the Digital Art > Fractal Art, that is a miscat!
It seems as if many people don't read what gallery their image is being submitted to, every gallery has a description, read it!

Gallery Info: Fractal Art

Place images created with fractal generating software here. Fractal artwork consists of images created using complex mathematical equations compiled in programs such as Ultra Fractal, Apophysis, Fractal Explorer, and Chaoscope. These programs are dedicated to formulas that cannot be easily explained using traditional geometry. Fractal images traditionally represent self repeatability, in that they can be zoomed in an infinite amount of times without losing their overall shape, or are comprised of smaller versions of the overall image. Geometrical images that are not mathematically based and are hand drawn in programs such as MS Paint and Photoshop should not be posted here. Fractal images that have non-fractal elements may be posted here as long as the focus of the image is the fractal. Images that have the fractal overshadowed, or secondary in focal point, such as using a fractal simply as a background should not be posted here. This includes importing foreign elements into a fractal generating program and rendering them along with the fractal. Images that contain fractal and non-fractal elements will be weighed on a case by case basis to determine if they belong in the fractal gallery, please use the proper descretion when posting such images here.

Let's try and cut back on submitting images into the wrong galleries! Not only for the Digital Art > Fractal Art, but for EVERY GALLERY!

All you're really doing is wasting the time of the Gallery Directors as well as the folks over at the help desk and anyone else who reports the miscats!
