What a Vexel Is: The Official dA Definition

reports, July 7Influenced by recent dispute, it has been decided that it is time to make a solidified definition of what a vexel is by deviantART's terms. Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.

Calenders!!! Lots of lovely Calendars! Do you have yours ready for the holidays?? The new year will be here before you know it and you will want some new calendars or some for your family and friends. One of the great things $spinegrinder suggested was if you see some art that you would like as a calendar please let the artist know!! What a great inspiration that would be!

To start your calendar:
You must have a print account. Perhaps purchase one for your favorite artist as a gift and incentive.
1. Submit Deviation-Preferably your Calendar Cover.
2. Make it a printable (taking you to print section)
3. Click the Calendar tab in options
4. Using the user friendly template add your deviations.
5. Click the 2008 box
6. Submit the Print!
It takes a few days to process. Be patient because the inside pages can not be seen by others until it is approved. To view approved calendar pages you must add the deviation to your shopping cart, then you can view all the monthly pages.
The numbers and months are all done by dA. It is spiraled so make sure you have a good border, especially at the top.
You can make the back of your calendar anything you like.
I hope this helps some. I look forward to seeing everyone's calendars!
