Now it's time for September 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it!
Fave Fave Fave!
My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations.
Artists need to be supported.
So don't be shy!
Visit their pages, support them by faving, commenting, and when you see a deviation that you like also view their gallery entirely, like that you can decide if you will devwatch them or not.
Viewing only a deviation (what is great) is not enough
And if you want to see your favorite visual artists or art selected to be in this feature for the next month, send me via note the links/thumbs!
You can see the previous features here, in the Index i've created!

"Contrariwise," continued Tweedledee, "if it was so, it might be; and if it were so, it would be; but as it isn't, it ain't. That's logic."

Since the Berlin Wall coming down there had not been a defining moment for the generation that had come to be, there was pop culture, there was AIDS awareness, the war on drugs, condom wearing TLC, etc but it was all minor, things that divided us and shaped our individual views.
Individual views.
But there was no unifying moment, nothing that made us feel as if we were a part of a greater society, a larger body of humanity.
Until September 11th.
In that one instant when we realized, when we knew, that the act was no accident, that it deliberate and it was hateful, and against us , we became an Us.
Suddenly we remembered that before we were Joe Smith or Jane Black we were apart of America, apart of Humanity.
More than any event in so many of our life times September 11th burst our secluded personal bubble and shoved us out into the 6 billion strong population of the Earth.
That bubble can never, will never be fully mended. We're here. We're aware.
It's been difficult dealing with that.
