Standing Out in a City Crowd 1

reports, September 11, 2007It's no lie that I absolutely love city crowd scenes.
But what I love more, is a city crowd scene where the artist--by use of color or composition--has singled out a particular character, and worked to really make him/her stand out.
Unfortunately, these kinds of illustrations are rare due to the fact that they demand so much time and attention--along with an understanding of atmosphereic space, and perspective.
So to show a bit of apprectiation to the artists who have successfully taken on the challenge of such a complex subject, and to perhaps encourge others to stretch themselves into trying for themselves; I've decided to feature here a collection of ten peices which beautifully illustrate exactly what I am talking about!
To those of you who share the same love for those rare city crowd scenes, enjoy :]
