deviantART and Claudio Sanchez, the frontman of the popular hard rock band Coheed & Cambria, have teamed together for an art contest of epic proportions.

The Amory Wars is a series of comic books that tie together what happens in the C&C albums, written by Claudio himself and he wants YOU to create a pinup that will run in the final issue of The Amory Wars miniseries, published by Image Comics.

Artists of deviantART are invited to submit a pin-up of their favorite character(s) or image inspired by The Amory Wars - you think the ship is cool, draw it. Love Coheed Killgannon himself? Illustrate him! Ships, characters, locations, Claudio wants to see your rendition! The winner will get their pin-up printed as a full-page pin-up in The Amory Wars #5, plus receive the new Coheed & Cambria CD, No World For Tomorrow, signed by the entire band and all five issues of The Amory Wars signed by Claudio Sanchez.

All submissions must be at least 8" x 10" and 300 dpi.

The new album, No World For Tomorrow, will be out October 23rd.
