So instead of something trite and drearily obvious and orange hallowe'eny style - my contest for this month is about All Saints, and All Souls day...

I want you to write about death, and the dead. It can tie into hallowe'en as much or as little as you like but I'll warn you I am looking for some genuine and honest emotion here, Hallowe'en is a holiday - not an emotion, and it has been done.

Time for a new contest!! I must apologize for not posting this news article sooner, but just in case you haven't seen our journal...you have 3 days left to enter!! To see the entries, go to our journal!

So basically, this theme entails all photos that would be put in the urban and rural category. There's a lot to work with here and I'm very excited to see the entries!

Hey!! Don't forget to go donate a prize! It can be as simple as donating a feature![See below]



RULES:shakefish:[Be sure to read these!]

:pointr: You MUST be a member to participate, so if you aren't...join us!

:pointr: It has to be a photograph and it obviously has to be related to the theme.

:pointr: To submit an entry, just send us a note with subject "Contest" that includes a link to your deviation! NOTE: We get tons of notes everyday...SO if you you don't put "Contest" in the subject line it will probably be looked over just by accident!!

:pointr: Only one entry per member please!

:pointr: Deadline is September 16th!


JUDGING!!

Judging will be done by a series of judges for this contest. Once all the entries are in, each judge will choose their 3 favorites and give them points on a ranking scale. Then I will tally the points.
The judges and myself will not be participating in this contest.
