UNKNOWN FANTASY ART 2

The purpose of this feature is raise awareness of some of the wonderful fantasy art that falls through the slats here on DA. It's inevitable - so many pieces are posted every day here that it is hard for everything to get noticed, and even the most deserving of pieces and deviants often get little to no attention whatsoever. Therefore, all the pieces featured here have less than 20 favourites upon posting; for me, getting 20 favourites is like that 'magic' number - I remember the first time one of my pieces hit 20 and how special it made me feel (and if I'm honest, I still get it even now!).

I fave everything I feature - hopefully you'll find something you like and leave a comment / fave for these deserving artists.

by An anthro piece exhibiting excellent control of coloured pencils (and she's so cute!)

by My first reaction upon seeing this was 'that's just gorgeous!' and was expecting not to be able to feature it due to massive amounts of faves...

by I don't know the movie this is based on, but I do know that the colours are really striking

by A very clean piece made up of refreshing, pure colours.

by Sooooo much detail in this! A full view is a must.

by Gorgeous, soft colour - this piece oozes emotion.

by I love the style this was drawn in - and the fact that she's a black mermaid!

by The title intrigued me (I'm teaching the poem 'Salome' next week), but the clean colours and attention to detail made me feature this...

by Soft, simple but beautifully effective.

by This has an almost dreamlike quality to it.

by lovely sense of perpective (and I'm a real sucker for graphite pieces...)

by So much detail - and those haunting eyes!

by This one is an oldie, but definitely a goodie. Each time I read this, I end up crying with laughter
