The first half of a two-part article on cliches vs. originality, split because of length. It may require some cleaning up; please note me with criticisms, as I don't always see comments left on news articles. Thank you.

Has writing lost its luster? That shiny quality that you saw when you first started out? Maybe it has. Maybe it hasn't. But we all run into problems and sooner or later we all hit that proverbial wall. We all hit it at some point but what sets some a part from others is the fact that they charge, give a mighty battle roar, and blast that wall down while still having fun with their writing. Why can't this be you?
Welcome to =LineCount's Introductory Feature. Our team has scoured deviantART looking for great poetry in all its forms, and below is just a sample of the amazing words we've found. Read, enjoy, and be sure to comment constructively on the poems (and don't forget to leave lots of love to these talented writers).
Want to Make a Suggestion?
Have you come across a poem you really liked? If so, we want to hear about it! Send us your suggestions, via note, with the following information:

I really think that it was about time to put the spotlights on poetry, in it's every form! I don't think that I'm such a bad poet that pratically no one reads my poems. But it's sad that I don't even get constructive critics <.< I get more comments on photos and manipulations
That's why I'm already watching you guys.
I don't have time now, but when I do I'll read some of those poems. We all should give poets our love.
Much love and admiration, Mimi.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
