Whats your story contest

At last~!
I made up my mind just a few second ago~!!!Finally~!A CONTEST!!!
Hmm..?no, not art contest anymore, I want to see something else that drawing and painting~ I want to read~

The contest theme:
This is a writing contest~! U should make a prose! U should write a fiction.
The story should be based on my latest doodle here:



The Rules:
• Well, I just draw them, even the characters belong to me, but I haven’t decided a name for them, u could named them, or u want to make them anonymous it’s up to ya~
• Some hint : on my imagination, the human character should be a a simple farmer boy, age around 15-16 years old. And the elf….he already live for hundred years or so.That’s all, the rest is up to ya~
• This should be an prose, minimum 500 words to unlimited (so if u wanna write a novel, I would be glad >w< ) but it should be finished~!!!
• Every story genre is acceptable~
• Make it 13+, shounen-ai is acceptable, yaoi is forbidden~!!! Blood and gore is still permitted, as long as they are not too graphically and sadistic~
• You could add your original character, but remember, the focus are those two. Others are only supporting characters.
• U can experiments with the point of view, whether u want to use a third person view, boy’s view or even the elf’s point of view.
• The time line is also up to you, u can begin the story before, when and after the scene of the pic, even flash back is ok, be creative~ out from u’r comfort zone~
• Use English language please~ So everyone can read~
• Each person can enter 2 submissions.
• Don’t copied others story!!! Be original~!!!
• The story can be submit in DA or other web, please note me and give the link
• Deadline; 31 December 2007

The judge
So far, I will be the main judge, plus two other insane people:
-one is my house mate novel maniac~! I always believe her taste
-the other is my friend, he learn English literature and theology course, kinda heavy ne?
-if u want to be a volunteer, just ask me, I would really glad~

-1 free commission from me, one character, full color and background. Accept your OC or fan art, but no photo painting please.

Published possibilities:
Me and my group was planning to make some sketches book collection, if the project goes well, the winning story will be put on the book and the winner will get a copy of it, but it’s still under development, can’t promise anything right now~


Runner up:

-1 months journal featured by me


Special prize:
If the entries are quite many, I will make public vote. The story who got the highest vote will get:
