AIDS Walk 2007

On Saturday, October 21st, the Philadelphia AIDS Walk will take place, but a deviant you might know, `GeneratingHype, will not be able to participate in it for the 2nd year in a row due to his health. His sister, *EveningDownpour, and her family are helping out and will be walking in his place, and they'd like to invite you to help, too...

When `GeneratingHype's posted his journal about the AIDS Walk in Philadelphia, it appeared hidden after paragraphs of other topics that he put first-- he wasn't blatantly calling attention to his cause but mentioning it quietly for his friends to support. A bit from his journal stood out:

There have been many times--especially in the past two years--when various charities supported by the Philadelphia AIDS Fund have been the only thing helping me to get all of my medications (now up to 15 pills a day, not counting the pain pills), on time and in full, as well as being one of the few organizations offering appropriate healthcare and advice during my various trials with this disease.

He may not have expected his friends and strangers to take up the cause on his behalf, but his humble journal sparked a fire, and all around dA people are stepping up and showing their creativity in support of AIDS awareness and this amazing guy.
