I'm opening The Nine-Lives (my original manga) fanart contest!!

It already started since 07/14/07 and will be closed on January 14th 2008!


Here's the rule!

I need some fanart from The Nine-Lives—the original manga I made. So, you guys have to draw my original manga characters.


Conditions:

- If there're still free pages to fill in the manga, the winner's arts will be submitted there.

- The subscribe prizes will be given as soon as the winners have been decided and announced. But for the manga, they have to wait until the manga date release and it will be sent to their addresses.

- Please remember that this is only the fanart section to fill some extra pages in the manga, and the contest is held individually by Bayou, so there will be NO payment, royalties or whatsoever (except the prizes) for publishing your arts in my manga.


General rulez!

1. There will be no category in this contest. But even there's no category in this, unfortunately comic strip is unacceptable.

2. Please remember the original pairings in the story, cuz I don't want anybody paired up couples on their own choices.

3. You're free to use any kind of tools.

4. And because the manga is only a PG-13 rating, please don't draw unnecessary graphic nudity or vulgar sex scene. I believe you all know the limitation of the rating, so, kissing, and a bit of nudity are still ok.

5. You can draw them in any clothes you like. (No clothes are fine too! *lol*<<but please over look rule no.4)

6. You can make it in colors or only in black and white. (Remember, colors will become an extra point to the judgment, but unfortunately all arts will be printed in black and white in the manga, so choose wisely, k?)

7. You have to draw the characters in pair or in group, at least there’re 2 chars in one picture.

Submission rulez!

This one is easy, and please DO NOT ask me about this again!

- For submitting, you just submit your art in DA and note me the link with the subject "Fanart contest"

- IF you win, I will ask you to send me the original size of your fanart thru Yousendit, mega upload, or similar sending file sites like that.


Character's relationship

- Adrian—Conri (seme and uke *lol*)
Their relationship is quite full with quarrels, because Adrian is too overprotective, meanwhile Conri is very stubborn. But both of them care at each other. It's just a matter of time they'll become a couple. Ha ha!

- Ari—Conri (The pervert and the victim)
Conri hates Ari's perverted attitude, mostly when they meet, Ari will start to sexually harass the cat-boy, while Conri will struggle and hurt the other party as much as he can.

- Conri—Faye (Childhood friends)
More like brother-sister's relationship, although Conri was once had a crush on Faye. Faye is used to Conri's stubborn behavior and she can tame the boy quite well, while Conri puts a lot of respect at her.

- Conri—Orfeo (.....)
Nothing happen between these two, actually. Orfeo just consider Conri as Faye's childhood friend, and Conri seems to be afraid at him.

- Adrian—Ari (weird friend couple)
Weirdest duo best friend ever. With completely opposite attitude, it’s amazing that they can get along together. Although Ari is loud and perverted, but Adrian thinks that Ari is loyal and trustworthy. And Ari respects Adrian in every aspect. Both of them have the same weird likeness of food, mostly when Ari introduced Indonesian stinky-bean stew to Adrian, and he likes it!

- Adrian—Faye (too overprotective for the same person)
At first Adrian suspected Faye a lot because she';s a mafia’s pet and won't let Conri get involved with her. But he saw Faye's affection towards Conri as a big sister, and she's a very responsible person, makes Adrian put all of his trust on Faye for Conri. While Faye seems to realize that AdrianxConri relationship is a bit more than it seems in the surface. (woman's instinct, ha ha!)

- Adrian—Orfeo (Better not to know each other)
They suspect each other… no more things to say about them. Ha ha!!

- Ari—Faye (Touch the kitty and die!)
Ari seems to have a flirt for Faye and have guts to act straight forward, despite of Faye's rudeness. Faye herself doesn't really mind Ari as long as he didn't lay his hand and harass Conri.

- Ari—Orfeo (Touch the girl and die!)
If Orfeo's around, Ari won't have any courage to hit on Faye, because he knows Orfeo can shot him to death that instant and walk free without any charges.

- Faye—Orfeo (Lovey dovey couple *laugh*)
You can say they're a lovey-dovey couple, heheh. They usually acts very formal at each other, but funnily their formal way just brings up the affection between both of them.

Special!
- Conri—Corry (Lovely twins)
For those who want to draw them, feel free to do it. The twins are very close to each other, before they got separated when they came to earth.

Note!
- Zeus (the character that shown in the b/w group art below)
Because his appearance was pended until book 2, so I changed him with Orfeo. You don't have to draw him.


There are guest artists in the fanart section;
Oh! I'm so flattered that they're agreed to submit their art in the manga! (Actually it was my prize from their contest… ) Sankyuu anyway!
