The Feature
I've spent a couple of hours today, wading through -all- the different galleries.
I'm going to feature a couple of hundred (although it feels like thousands!) of thumbs.
These thumbs caught my eye while browsing and made me laugh, inspired me or just stunned me.
Some of these artworks and artists have large numbers of pageviews and favorites, some very few.
I did my best to feature at least one thing from every sub-gallery, but I know I haven't succeded.
I also realise that some artists have more than one piece featured, this is just because more than one caught me eye, I singled them out in no way and featuring more than one actually, if you think about it, makes it more fair... Or at least, it does to me!

Why
In Deviantart, I enjoy the community. However, I feel that a lot of people take pageviews, comments and favorites too seriously and forget the rest of the community, fixate on their "fame".
I love looking at all the galleries and really enjoy sharing pieces of art which I enjoy with everyone, in the hope that they'll get something out of it and possibly even show the piece to a friend or two.

It would be nice, if you'd comment and tell me which art and artists you like the best, that's nice for me and also for any of the artists who read the comments on this journal (all featured artists will be notified that their work is featured here, with the option for them to ask to remove it).
