The recent passing of Deviant Art member; *Justannie due to an unfortunate automobile accident, has saddened
many here on DA.
Her passing has spurred on one Deviant to sponsor a contest in her name,with some really great prizes in order to celebrate her life!

The contest Theme is centered on one of *Justannie's favorite recreational pastimes, "Dancing". It can be any form of "dance" Watussie to Waltz. As long as it is a photograph, and as long as it's dance!

Interview with =Ferice aka Violet:

Q. I understand that you are having a contest to celebrate the memory
of *Justannie could give us an idea as to the prizes that are available to be won?

A. Prizes are:
1st: 1 years subscription
2nd: 9 months subscription
3rd: 6 months subscription
3 merit awards of 3 months subscription each
plus journal featuring of the winners.

Q. Is this going to be a peoples choice poll or will there be judges?

A. There will be judges, and I might add, the Contest closes October 8th.


Q. Annie was a friend of yours here on DA, can you tell us what you remember most about her, and a bit about her and her art?

A. She had a great sense of humor, always positive and supportive. Her art reflected her love for nature, fun and friends.


Q. Why a contest? Why not some type of memorial?

A. Through a contest we are able to give back to those who loved Annie.

A. Annie's tag line was 'Life is too short, let's have some fun before we die'. Let's all remember that
