We have made a news article about it, but people have been asking how our dad is doing..
For you guys who don't know what it's about, here is the full story.
We are lisajen-stock, we have a pretty large stock gallery.
We have provided photomanipulators with stock images and I think we are doing well as stockers

our Dad is in the hospital now since june, he had a tumour around his hip, turned out to be a rare bone-eating tumour, he is the first one in belgium with this sort of cancer, they took it
out, places donor bones and some bolts but the recovery has been nothing but problems.. he is still in the hospital and in staid of healing, things are getting worse ...allso the medical bills are very high... even health ensurance is not covering it all.. just small bits
my mom is very stressed, she cannot pay all the bills..
she gets bill after bill after bill.. 270$, 95$ ... ... and they keep coming..
every week she gets 3/4 bills send home
at the end of each month she will get a final bill.. wich we THOUGHT would be around 700$..
in staid, she just found out it's over 400$ a week!!! she just recieved a bill of 1600E (around 1800$) health insurance pays 20% .. so not much.
and then she allso has to pay for gas, her rent a place to stay in the hospital and stuff like that.. besides that our mom allso has her heart condition :faints:
and under these circumstances she will not recover.. our parents both
cry a lot, their lives are just not pleasant right now... me and my sister
are taking care of the dog, and we try to visit when we can, but these
problems are the back of our head everyday.. never in the mood for stock,
they don't even know if the cancer has spread out yet! so for all we know,all these operations are pointless. my dad has been operated on 5 times now..
The first time was removing the tumour and putting in donor bones and bolts
etc.. The first two weeks were great, he was already sitting in a wheelchair
and could sometimes stand up on one leg.They gave him false hope.. Because then the troubles started...the wound would not heal because he
doesn't have enough skin in that area.They operated on the wound 3 times..
he could not sit up and he had to lay down flat on his back,he has been in his bed like
that for over two months now, wich is... no fun at all
specially because he has back problems, then they operated on him AGAIN...
and again it's a failure, the docotr even admits it was his fault.
this time a bone or something came loose, so not very good .. they had to
make a whole new incision... I just feel bad for him because no one wants to go in
the operation room so many times in,I hope it will be the last time they operate
on him because this is beginning to cost a serieus amount of money.
Let's hope he will be home for christmas.. :/

ow we are trying to raise money for our parents, so that they don't
have to wurry about those bills...we have allready raised more then 500$
We recieved art commissions, prints and many more where the profit went to us
adn we thank all of you who have donated towards this cause and who have helped us with this fundraiser
The money we raise now, is mostly for my mom..it costs 10 dollar a day to stay at the
hospital where my dad is. It is a very long drive so it will allso cover fuel for the car ,
wich is very expencive here.and everytime my mom is with my dad he feels much better .
so every 20 dollar is a day/night that she can spend with my dad (+ food&drink).
the rest will go to bills....

When we called and told him we raised money he thought it was a joke and he could not believe it.
my dad is a real artist you can check out his art, we are trying to sell these:
he wants to sell them for 1000$ .. yes it's a lot..
but they are worth over 2000$

when we recieve a donation it will go straight to my moms account ..
we are very ashamed to ask this but,it's just hopeless and we really don't know where els to turn
we even tried the belgian 'cancer leage' they raise money, but they do not help
people like our parents, they just help the researches for cancer :/

so, Other then all this..
He has to celebrate his birthday at the hospital this saturday

you guys gave.... and present it to him
.. because knowing that we recieved donations for his cause, I think
beside my mom being there allmost every single day ,it has given him
strenght to go on, and a reason not to give up...

please do so.. It will be a present for his
birthday..
He really needs some courage ..
he hasn't been very well.. not
eating enough, and he is just sick and tired of
being in that hospital and getiing
operated on ... he is just laying there to stay alive.. that is what it looks like..
he can get better, but he has been trough so much in his life, he is just tired of it all
if he gives up and stops eating he will never recover ..
