Even in times of war, the Soldier as an individual is of no consequence. The Soldier is a symbol, a simple pawn in a culture war. The Soldier is either a villain, or a Hero. The Soldier always serves for the honor of his country, not his paycheck. The Soldier is faithful, as there are 'no atheists in the trenches'. The Soldier is Combat Arms. The Soldier is male, he married a young white girl, and he has a baby on the way, whom he has never met.
The Soldier is a romantic ideal.

reports, September 22, 2007Yes, kiddies, Male Nudes are on DeviantArt, despite the odd penchant of Admin to delete-at-random should a penis appear even slightly erect! In fact, well endowed penises tend to get deleted as well. Why? I have asked the same question...and answered thus: 1. maybe not-so-well-endowed male "members" of Admin don't want the word to get out that penises exist in super-jumbo-gargantuan-erect-looking sizes. Gawd forbid the female tribe learn this!! -- or perhaps -- 2. If it is erect, he has to be "aroused" and thus makes it pornography. Oh please....folks, not ALL erections are sexual in nature. Men: speak up here! I for one wish to make it known that erect penis images are ART as well...and if the viewer judges their own reaction as "musta been porn, I got a woodie/wet spot..." - then who is to say? I, for one, do a lot of male nudes, very erotic stuff, not one hard-on (well, only one...hehe...they haven't discovered it yet...LOL!), and I do not in my wildest dreams think of MY ART AS PORNOGRAPHY!!!! NO WAY! It is art. It is the beauty I see in my husband's form. It is partially the way I love him, the way I MAKE LOVE TO HIM....

This is DA its Artists nude not semi porn.
I fully support Artists nude. If the model is "good" They wont be turned on at a photo-shoot. Artists nude does mean getting a boner. There should be more control in the photo-shoot.
It has been one of the rules since day one. You knew the rules when you joined and so did everyone else.
if you or anyone else didn't like them. Then why join!
Admin do not just delete them for the hell of it you know. They also don't just delete cause of a "slight" erection ..
You are reading into this far more then needed. Making something out of nothing.
The rules are there for a reason.
Like it or not. DA does not allowed "semi porn" shots. Like it or not that's how it is. If you don't like it. That's your problem no need to try and make it everyone else's problems.
