1st Place winner =rhapsouldize

=rhapsouldize just turned 24, is now obsessed with old film cameras and scouring the streets of Philadelphia in search of interesting people, and just ruined her first roll of film.
About the winning piece she says, "I took this shot from the top of the cape may lighthouse, which is 157 feet tall. just a lucky combination of a human subject and her environment."




2nd Place winner *Drinking-Mercury

*Drinking-Mercury was born in Norway, is a self-taught photographer with a year and a half of experience who especially enjoys concert photography. After recently starting working for the local student paper, most of the stories are more mundane, but she attended NuMusic and was given the opportunity to shoot rather famous artists.
About her winning piece she says, "I caught this one 'by accident' earlier this year while going with my boyfriend on his former job. He had a delivery to this industrial area a bit south of Stavanger and I, luckily, brought my camera. I find that the best shots aren't always the most planned."




3rd Place winner *turn-the-paradise-on


*turn-the-paradise-on is a 20 year old student in photography. He started to be interested with "image" when he was young, looking at every part of the world, trying to find every piece of place he could.
He aspires to be a photo reporter, traveling and meeting people. His mantra: "know as much as possible people in the world and be happy."
About his winning piece he says, "[It] express the way I feel when someone look back to his past. Some kind of lonliness,When someone [is] asking if he had a good life or not."
