This is the fifteenth Vexelicious feature article. As the name suggests, this article will be all about vexels. It is divided into three parts: DD's given in May and April, Vexels uploaded in May and April, and Themed Vexels.
Influenced by recent dispute, it has been decided that it is time to make a solidified definition of what a vexel is by deviantART's terms. Please understand that this definition, and the rules along with it, are not made up from a few of the gallery moderator's thoughts, but built from the foundation of what the creator's words on 'vexel' were, and what the majority of the vexel community of deviantART has come to accept as a vexel. These rules are solid, final, and most-likely will not be faltered.
These series have the intention of showing you the Daily Deviations featured for the Comic & Cartoons galleries during the month for you to enjoy them one more time or check them out in case you missed any.

*Devynn sent me a note saying that animal art seemed a little under appreciated in the traditional art community. To honour this, I setup an entire week of Animal DD's and now I am featuring all the thumbs collected since that note. I have SO many it will take several volumes to get through them!
If you feel a section of Traditional art is under appreciated, please don't hesitate to contact me and I will do the same for you :3
Round one
Round two will come soon, I still have lots of notes to go through too :3
Oh wow..I am not much into animal art..(my gallery suggests differently) but this is some of the most exquisite work I have seen...I sit here in complete awe and a new appreciation for traditional animal art.

Thank you very much for doing this. It is been a true pleasure to see artists I admire acknowledged and recognized. You haven't yet read any of the notes I sent, but already I see several of my own suggestions featured here. I can't help but be pleasantly amused, and I look forward to seeing which of them you choose to give DDs. I know I would find that a very tough decision to make were I in your shoes.
Wow, those are amazing features! The level of realism is quite astonishing just using traditional media. Thank you so much for bringing these to our attention. I must go and eave some comments and add a bunch of these to my s. Excellent feature, guruubii!

We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
