For the last few years, social networks have been a real hit in the virtual world. People from all around the globe search for users with similar interests and find themselves forming large communities where they can share all kinds of information in all sorts of formats.
Because of this growing phenomenon, a college group of applied investigation is doing a research about online communities, to get an idea of what causes the success of communities such as deviantART and others. For this, we're focusing on the Latin American fraction of deviants and we want to know what your views are on this topic through an online discussion group.
What will it be about
º
Topics: usage of online communities, preferences, applications, criticism, etc. [in general and also, of course, applied to dA]
º
How: the discussion group would take place in a forum on my journal [link will be provided via note once it's up and running]. Participants just need to answer to the questions on the initial post and comment/discuss the answers with the rest of the participants.
º
When: it starts on Monday, October 1 and concludes on Tuesday, October 2.
Requirements
º To be a latin/hispanic deviant [the discussion group will be in Spanish]
º To be between 13 and 24 years old
º To visit/use dA regularly [at least 3 times a week]
All participants and queries should be sent via
note.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
