^lovetodeviate:iconlovetodeviate: reports, September 28
An interview with writer, critic (critiquer?), lit senior, `SparrowSong. Here are some tidbits:

“I like that my passions change. If nothing else, it gives me more to write about.”

“Everyone has heard the expression, ‘Give a man a fish, he eats for a day; teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.’ If you don’t learn to critique, you will always be dependent on others to help you instead of being able to do it by yourself.”

“Art changes how we view the surface of the world to reveal truth or beauty—or both—underneath.”

Also, we are currently seeking one new staff member to replace ~Dragonfly2093. Beth is leaving to focus on school (at a great loss to The Favorites Project), but if you feel like you have a few hours to spare each month, please send us a note expressing your interest. We will in turn browse your favorites and journals to get an idea of your level of dedication to featuring poetry on dA as well as take a look at your tastes.

Remember, even if you're not invited to join staff, you can always participate. Simply note us a link to a poem that you think deserves to be favorited. The staff will vote on your suggestion and if a majority of the staff agrees with you, that piece will be featured (and you, of course, will be credited with the find).

Last but not least, thank you to all our 245 watchers. You have showed your dedication to giving all of our features some well deserved love and attention. Thank you all!
