Entries currently being accepted. All styles of photography and photographic digital manipulation are welcome. Artists may submit up to 5 images for consideration, and there is NO FEE to participate. Artists will be required to provide unmatted, unframed prints for the show however, at a minimum size of 12" on one side.
Space is limited, so not all artists can be shown. Additionally, no more than 3 images from any one artist will be shown at this event. Artistic nudity and violent imagery are permitted, however, graphic sex (pornography; implied or real penetration/masturbation) or excessive gore will not be considered. dA Guidelines, basically.
ENTRY DEADLINE: The Ides of March, 2008 (that's the 15th, in case you were wondering.) Selections will be made by April 1st and entrants will be notified shortly thereafter. Entrants then have 30 days to send in their prints, which MUST be received by May 1st, 2008 or they will not be shown. No exceptions.
TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK FOR CONSIDERATION: Please e-mail your digital images to info@uniquenudes.com with the heading "Personality show submissions." Include a small bio about yourself and attach up to five images (web resolution please) for consideration. This show is open to ALL photographic artists.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Please note the show is called "Personality." The image should portray a clear personality trait/traits of the persons within. This is a portrait study show, so no body or landscapes, abstracts, etc. It is, however, not limited to the human subject. Below this are some images that I consider to be perfect for theme of this show. Just because they are shown here does not mean they will be in the show, these are just examples of what I'm looking for:
Again, this is a FREE juried show. You will only need to supply prints if you are accepted and there is no cost to enter.
