reports, July 8This is the fifth in this series that features art by members of the Artisan Crafts gallery that I feature daily in one of my journal modules. I add one each day and each is featured for 24-48 hours and then all are featured at the beginning of the next month as a group. These artisan works are found through my casual browsing and they could be very recently uploaded or they could be older works. They could have been made by very well-known artisans, by someone still unknown, or by someone very new to dA. They are random finds, so one gallery might be represented more than another and one artist might get featured more than once in the same month. My picks are totally random finds and that which struck me as something wonderful... I hope you think so, too, and that you enjoy this new series!

reports, October 2, 2007This is a showcase of cuddly creatures that go bump in fabirc bins (at night of course) and plushie monsters that lurk and loom behind sewing machines. They creep and crawl forth from imaginations fit for mad scientists with lisping hunchbacked assistants to haunt the craft rooms of artist all over the world, mercilessly spreading fright and a bit of cuddly cuteness too.
This is just a small sampling of all the horrors that haunt the dark corners of the Plushie Gallery here on DA.

And you must, must, must make a plushie! I can't wait to see what a shortthing-plushie would look like.
Making a plushie is actually something i wanted to do for a very long time...i should just do it. Fears and doubts aside
I think it really is fantastic, I love the way you've made the fur look so manky and the eyes all droopy. And even if it has a face only a mother could love, it makes up for it all with being stuffed full of personality.
