Since the anthro community is in a slight recession due to Anthrocon being this week, as well as the anthro gallery director being away at AC, I've decided to do a large feature of some great anthro artwork I've collected recently.
Well it's summer time and the weather is hot, or at least warmer, and its time for another Miss-Anthro-Club Art Feature! In this feature we'll be showcasing summer/beach themed art from all over DeviantArt.
New challenge: You have two weeks to enter, the deadline is June 20th! Theme: "Top of the World" Please submit your entries to *anthrochallenge along with the theme you'd like to have if you won.
If we get good feedback, there will be an "Anthro Community's Choice" #3... and if nobody likes this or supports this... then the project dies here XD;;;
Fifth installment of the anthro artist interviews. This time: ~kittiara. Again, I dare you to click on the link and read it... You don't need to have zillions of pageviews to be interviewed, if you're talented like her!
Well summer is almost gone for most of us, especially us Canadians. (almost snowed here the other day!) So me being tired and unimaginiative, decided it's best for a anthro feature involving the theme of summer.
I searched through around 3,000 more deviations, and to my surprise, there weren't a whole lot of featurable artwork that involved the summer theme. Whether it be swimming, beaches, even ice cream. So there isn't a lot of features this time around.
Thank you for this review, Temiree.
I like the most of this works and had seen some of them before, (for example, two first picture, "Summer girl" is my favourite drawing, it looks very magical and gentle, like an illustration for memories or nice novell in Celtic style. I adore it).
From the new drawings, I really enjoyed "Sky" by , it pretends to realism and looks like a very nice paint drawing. Also green picture with a surfer (you know, I like green!

The guitar is a musical instrument with ancient roots that is used in a wide variety of musical styles. It typically has six strings, but four, seven, eight, ten, and twelve string guitars also exist.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

Yeah Sky is my favorite of them all. That's the exact style I am trying to pursue. But I just don't got the skill quite yet.
