hi folks,


here we are with a special contest. so, my sweet *SnaiLEd and I are going to host it!
it will be a prized contest for the first three best ranked. It wont be a pure photographical contest: it will be a either photographical or conceptual contest. here there are the key points and the rules:


WHAT IS THE THEME?
The theme of this contest is the courage, the bravery. So we would like to see all you can image while thinking of it.


WHAT WILL BE JUDGED?
Pay attention to this issue! Every entry will be judged upon these three points:

1) will be judged the pic itself, artistically and technically speaking;
2) the description of your personal interpretation of the courage; it can be your personal quote, or a quote by someone else; but it is very important that with the photo, a description of the bravery concept comes;
3) the association between the concept and the photo.

Please, pay big attention to this key, because a wonderful pic without description, or a nice pic with a description not consistent with the image wont be judged.


WHAT KIND OF ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED?
No matter if it is and old photo; you can send it too.
No photo-manipulation ( only curves, saturation, replace colors and such ).
Textures and brushes are accepted. Anyhow they dont have to be heavy!!


HOW MANY ENTRIES FOR DEVIANT?
Up to 5 entries for deviant. A same concept of bravery with different images will be accepted as well.


HOW ABOUT THE VOTATION SYSTEM?
The contest will be divided in three moments:

1) from now to 31st of october we will receive all the entries;
2) in a couple of days, the jury, that is me and *SnaiLEd, will pick up the best ones; the number of the selected ones depends on how man pics will be entered. At minimum the best 7 pics will be picked up; at maximum the best 21 pics will be selected.
3) once the best ones are picked up, a poll ( or more polls ) will be set up; the polls will last 15 days and then the winners will be announced.

If the second or the third place will be achieved by more than one person, there will be no problem for the prizes.
If the first place will be achieved by more than one person, a further 1 week poll will be set up in order to tell the final winner.


HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Just send a note to me ( :devmetiu ) with the object: ONLY THE BRAVE; inside the note, please put the link for the image. Just to be clear once again: pic without the concept's description wont be taken into consideration.



THE PRIZES

1st: three months subscription + 1 week of feature in my journal and in *SnaiLEd's one;
2nd: interview + 1 week of feature in my journal and in *SnaiLEd's one;
3rd: feature of 1 week in my journal and in *SnaiLEd's one;
