reports, 2d 12h agoThe winners of the Breaking Free contest have been announced! Amongst the entries were a daily deviation, a news feature and many stunning pieces of space art. The aim of my contest was take a piece I had rendered in Vue 6 and manipped a smoketrail into, and "spacify it" - that is use it as a stock to make a space related piece of art.

Contest Details
Your entry for the contest must be an interpretation of a part of this poem:
Now Autumn's fire burns slowly along the woods,
And day by day the dead leaves fall and melt,
And night by night the monitory blast
Wails in the key-hold, telling how it pass'd
O'er empty fields, or upland solitudes,
Or grim wide wave; and now the power is felt
Of melancholy, tenderer in its moods
Than any joy indulgent summer dealt.

We will accept only one entry from each member.
You are allowed to submit either a new piece done exclusively for the contest or one which has already been uploaded to your gallery for some time.
Send your entry to *PhotographersClub via note with the subject "Contest Entry". Make sure you include which part of the poem you have interpreted
The contest opens on Monday, October 8 and will close on Monday, October 29. That means you’ve got three weeks to send in your entries!
Judging will commence on Tuesday, October 30.
We hope to announce the winner on Thursday, November 1.
