The Turnip Garden’s First Ever Halloween Contest!

Salutations Members!

We here at the Garden have decided it’s about time we held another contest! And what better theme do we have in these late months that Halloween?

Here’s How It Works:

1. The theme is simple. Halloween! You can feel free to dress up =Endling’s characters for the occasion, or take your own and dress them up, as Red or Lust or whomever! Make sure to make the distinction of which pieces in =Endling’s gallery depict his own characters, and which do not. (However, please refrain from painting =Endling’s characters in an inappropriate light. Staying true to their character will go into account when judging comes around.)
2. Multiple characters and multiple submissions are very much allowed.
3. Also, there will be a Literature portion as well! Describe the characters of your choosing at Halloween, just make sure to tie in =Endling’s characters/stories as a central part of your tale.
4. It must be entirely your own work from start to finish. Photomanipulations are allowed.
5. When your entry is done and submitted, please note The Turnip Garden with a link. Ideally, we want to put every entry in the Garden gallery (proper credit given to the artist, complete with links, of course), but, should you want to keep it confined to your own, please specify that in the note.
6. You have from now until midnight, October 31st, Australian time.

Judges


What we're looking for: CREATIVITY. Effort, execution of the idea, something that really pops. The Literature and Art divisions will be judges separately.

Prizes
First Place: For both the Art and Literature section, the first place winner will receive a 3 month subscription. Also, the Art winner will receive a full-CG commission from *Sins-Of-Angels of their choice, while the first place Literature winner will have a part of their story illustrated by *Sins-Of-Angels in full color.

Second Place: Second place winners will receive a 1 month subscription, as well as a full-color chibi of their choice from *Sins-Of-Angels

Third Place: Third place winners will receive a pencil sketch of their choice from *Sins-Of-Angels

All winners, possibly including a few Honorable Mentions, will be featured in the journals of *Endorell-Taelos, *Sins-Of-Angels, *GrievousError, *the-princess-laura, and *ShadeGlass (List still growing)

If anyone would like to donate prizes, please note the club, we’d be more than happy for your help!
