Soul Meets Body

=DrowningByWords:iconDrowningByWords: reports, Oct 9, 2007
Ever since I joined DA to try and get feedback on my poems
one art form I hadn't been familiar with caught my heart
more than any other. When I came across visual poetry
on DA for the first time, I knew then the power and beauty
of combining words with images and instantly fell in love
with visual poetry. And I wished to be able too edit pictures
too combine with my poetry. Which I haven't really done until recently.
But what i'm about to show you is the reasons why I wished to be able
too combine my words with images effectivelly. These features speak
for theirselves and I truly hope visual poetry and these artists
and features get the attention and love they deserve. =)

*title is from a Death Cab For Cutie song*

News can be faved. :+fav:
As can the works featured :+favlove:
If you like anything you see please
let the artists know. =)

I sincerely hope that these features help
inspire more of you to try visual poetry
and bring more awareness on DA of a truly beautiful art form.

 Impressive examples of visual poetry on deviantART
from my fave visual poets;

thank you so much for the special feature - i have always found poetry is beautiful in words alone and then i stumbled upon visual poetry and fell in love with it - i scribble on any piece of blank paper and the images just follow - sometimes the image precedes the words.

thanks so much! :butterfly:
