Are you bored with Daily Deviations? Do you find that they are no longer interesting or of good quality? Then listen up.

I'm =TheEmptyWhiteRoom, a professional art critic based in the UK, and I find the Daily Deviations dull. So, being the pro-active person that I am, and seeing the immediate response from everyone who watches me (see my journal) I'm launching my own award scheme - Critic's Picks. (If you can come up with a better name, please let me know.) I pride myself on the quality of the images that I add to my favourites, so I want to share them with you. Every week I'm going to submit an Editorial News Article with 5 deviations. What I want you to do is to send me suggestions. I'm not talking about what you think should go on the front page. I don't want you to be scared, or think that I'll reject you. You can suggest more than one deviation in each note. You can suggest more than one deviation from more than one deviant!

There are only two rules:

1. You can't suggest yourself. That would be pointless.
2. The deviations that you suggest have to be ones that you would want to see this award. So many of the DD's are boring and dull, and are there for the skill shown in their making. I want deviations that make your jaw drop in amazement. I want deviations that are about ideas, quality and fantasticness. Forget everything you think about DD's. This is about being different.

If you want to suggest a deviation for a Crtic Pick, then send it to me in a note with Critic Pick in the subject. I know that sounds awfully like Daily Deviations, but I can assure you that that will be the only similarity. I will select the 5 best deviations from these, and they will displayed in my weekly news article. If you doubt my sincerity and unbiased-ness, then all you have to do is take a look at my favourites. I have only one bias, and that is a bias towards quality!
