reports, October 11, 2007The midnight hour of All Hallow's Eve approaches us, fellow deviants! A time where the undead walk the earth, where werewolves go out for a hunt, and vampires have a bloody good time.
This is also a perfect time for a little writing project. Everyone loves a good scare, but they also love a good laugh. What do I want? I want you to astound your readers, make them giggle, or give them a shiver with your words. At present, this is just merely for fun, as I can't really offer any prizes, but I am going to show off my favorites in a news article as well as in my journal on Halloween day.
There are a few small rules, as most things have to have rules to go smoothly.
It can be a a re-telling of an old story. Just make sure you put your own personal spin on it to make it interesting.
It can be scary, or it can be silly.
Don't steal from someone else, that's just stupid, and lazy.
Write as much or as little as you want.
The deadline is October 28th.
