reports, July 16The winners of the Breaking Free contest have been announced! Amongst the entries were a daily deviation, a news feature and many stunning pieces of space art. The aim of my contest was take a piece I had rendered in Vue 6 and manipped a smoketrail into, and "spacify it" - that is use it as a stock to make a space related piece of art.

*Mithgariel & *H-D-STOCK invite you into the realm of darkness, controversies and extraordinary - a land of deep melancholy and outrageous joy.
Beginning at the 13 of October and coming to end at the 23rd of November, we bid you welcome into the GARDEN OF PROSERPINE, a contest open to all visual artists.
SWINBURNE IN THE GARDEN
From too much love of living,
From hope and fear set free,
We thank with brief thanksgiving
Whatever gods may be
That no life lives for ever ;
That dead men rise up never ;
That even the weariest river
Winds somewhere safe to sea.
Then star nor sun shall waken,
Nor any change of light :
Nor sound of waters shaken,
Nor any sound or sight :
Nor wintry leaves nor vernal,
Nor days nor things diurnal ;
Only the sleep eternal
In an eternal night.

This is an open event to visual artist's,
all artistic level's are welcome to participate.
MUST use 1 (or more) stock from *Mithgariel-stock &
1 (or more) images from *H-D-STOCK's stock to enter.
Please do not consider the use of a sky, texture or anything of the like the only stock you will use from us.
OUR stock image/s MUST be visualy APPARENT.
The same standards apply to slipping a B & W or colour scheme over the stock and calling it yours. Failure to follow stock artists' rules & we will ask you once (nicely) to remove it completely.
You can use any additional stock. Remember - respect their rules 
MUST follow the *Mithgariel-stock / *H-D-STOCK's
personal stock rules and other stock artists rules.
MUST be based on the poem "Garden of Proserpine", so please write in your description how it is related to the poem.
In the description please note that the piece is made for the contest "Garden of Proserpine" and leave a link to the contest journal(s).
How many submissions can I make ?
-You have complete artistic freedom!
Therefore, You're allowed as many entries as you'd like.
