No, no... I'm not talking about emoticons, flirting, or even that thing that you do when you have dust in your eyes...
So, what in the heck am I talking about? I'll explain...
I've been looking at alot of tutorials online. Occasionally I've come across easy to follow tutorials that run using Macromedia Flash Player. You've seen the type I'm sure... the tutorials that put you right in the program with explanation boxes, sound overlays and all.
I thought to myself... someday I may want to make a tutorial... but how would I go about it if I did? I did a little research and found this nifty program called
Wink.
Not only is it packed with neat features, it's freeware, cross-platform, allows you to add audio, it imports screen shots, exports quite a few different formats, including stand alone players, it has multi-lingual support and... creates a nice compressed flash output, smaller then most high end flash programs, so it makes it perfect for the web.
No, I'm not selling this product, I don't get a thing for telling you about it... I just thought it was a neat and useful tool and wanted to share. It would be a great resource for fellow DA addicts who wanted to share techniques and the like, but don't want to do all the screen shot, copy and paste dance. (Plus it's interactive...yay!).
So... if you didn't know about the program, now you do, and here's the link:

Now get cracking and make some tutorials people!
Enjoy!
