It was a day like any other in the life of Megan Giles, also known as Dustmeat on the furry art website furaffinity.net. Checking the internets for comments on stuff she'd drawn just like any other artist may have found themselves doing on any given day on any given art site.
But this day was different, this difference in the form of a particular comment.
"I went shopping today and saw this exact same picture on a pair of pants.
<3333 it so much" it read, to which Dustmeat responded with:
"Wha? On PANTS?? Where?"
Sabretooth, one of Dustmeat's drawings, has appeared on a line of girl's pants sold at Kohls. Without Dustmeat's permission.
Dustmeat has already found a lawner and is considering legal action.
"Normally when my art is ripped off, it's a small-time entrepreneur who makes t-shirts at his uncle's shop or some guy in China making knife hilts. Not this time, oh no! My design (without my permission, without paying me a dime) is 'Tiger Plumbing' at a major retailer."
Enraged by what has happened, many furry artists are now spreading the word, calling for a boycott of Kohls.

~~ One time we looked through that mirroring glass. And what we saw we couldn't believe. A timing of love and death, swirling in the mist of fire and rain. Confusing, yes?~~
