Printmaking Series Two - Intaglio Printing II

^stigmatattoo:iconstigmatattoo: reports, July 12
Printmaking produces images with visual qualities that are very different from those obtained through drawing or painting directly, and each technique adds its own peculiarities to the way each piece is conceived. However, with its odd and alchemical combinations of unusual materials, specific tools and enormous machines, Printmaking is often a strange and foreign territory even for artists accustomed to studio work on other disciplines.

Soundzine Celebrates Its Artists, Past & Present

*salshep:iconsalshep: reports, October 15, 2007
:sun: Soundzine Issue 3 goes live today and to celebrate, we thought we’d feature ALL of the wonderful dA artists and photographers we’ve had the pleasure of publishing since our first issue went to air in April.

~Soundzine is an audio e-zine featuring poetry and prose, along with fine art and photography that is reflective of our literary submissions. In appreciation of those who have helped along the way, we’d like to present our favourite deviations from each of their galleries.

These artists, to us, typify the very best of deviantART’s art community, not only for their obvious skill but also for their generosity and willingness to help our own creative venture to become the success that it indeed has.

If you’ve enjoyed Soundzine and/or the art featured here, please give this news article some love, and help us express all the thanks and appreciation the following people so richly deserve.

- Charles Musser : *Adeimantus
&
- Salli Shepherd : *salshep
