My little girl is so magical. With a smile she can brighten my world. The glow in her eyes when she tells one of her stories melts away all of the day's problems and concerns. For me, having a child and being able to participate in her life, watch her grow and absorb the wonders of the world, completes me as a human being.
For my latest journal feature I am presenting a visual essay on children -- works by DA artists that beg to ask the question, "Is there anything more pure, more magical than a child?" Children are precious, that is a given. Through their eyes even we can experience most firsts, twice. Some of the greatest moments ever captured!
A man never stands as tall as when he kneels to help a child.
I think, at a child's birth, if a mother could ask for any useful gift to be given to their child, that gift would be curiosity.
A happy family is but an earlier heaven.
The potential possibilities of any child are the most intriguing and stimulating in all creation. Whatever they grow up to be, they are still our children, and the one most important of all the things we can give to them is unconditional love.
Seek the wisdom of the ages, but look at the world through the eyes of a child.
Children are the world and they see no limits. They aren’t shy and they don’t really care how you judge them. 
They are free and willing to dance. 
They can be emotional sometimes.
A smile or a kiss can make their day.
Children, you have to love them
