THE INTRO:
'
Anthro a synonym for anthropomorphism in the furry fandom'
Anthropomorphism is the attribution of uniquely human characteristics and qualities to nonhuman beings, inanimate objects, or natural or supernatural phenomena. Anthropomorphic is a word meaning "like a human." It is used to describe a well-known concept called anthropomorphism: ascribing human characteristics to a non-human being or object. (...) the word can apply to any non-human thing, including animals, plants, and inanimate objects.
~from Wikipedia and Wikifur~
As many of you know, there is a persistent cliché that anthro only means animals with human features, but the term, as you just read, includes not only animals but all kinds of vegetables, objects, and items, from your garden cactus to your toothbrush, as long as they are drawn with human-like characteristics, including:
- Walk upright
- Human features
- The bone structure of a human, with some of its animal/vegetable/item counterpart (i.e. a cat-anthro that although looks like a human, can jump like a cat).
We can see animal-based anthros in our galleries everyday, but its quite uncommon to find non-animal anthropomorphic creatures. So, for this contest, the goal is to prove that the stereotype is not always true. So be creative and show us what you can do creating your own
NON-ANIMAL anthro.

Coming up with an idea is dead easy. Executing it without issue however is where the creative kick comes from.
