Today's article may come as a bit of a surprise, given that the club posted one yesterday. Nevertheless, here's another one. Please let me advise that faving this news article will increase the chances of it being seen, and therefore increase the chances of the deviations within it being seen. I (~mrjans) contributed all of these deviations, so I hope you enjoy. ;)

Global Warming (READ THIS ITS IMPORTANT!)

~Rebecca-dragon-fan:iconRebecca-dragon-fan: reports, October 17, 2007
Okay so I've been hearing things about global warming and this video has opened my eyes, please people do all you can, recycle , compost , this is a very real thing. If things keep going like we are and the glaciers keep melting rapidly the ocean is going to raise up 20 feet and everything will be under water, and if we don't do something this flood could happen in a couple of years so please help out, if you are my age , 13 , when we graduate we might not live much longer after that if things keep going like they do , animals in the north are dying from dramatic changes in their habitat.People carelessly throw everything away, some people even dump their trash in the ocean, some thing like food and natural wastes can decompose and help the soil but please recycle other things like p0lasic, chip bags, bottles, cans , these things can take up to a million years to decompose and they don't help the earth either. Please don't leave you computers or televisions or lights on if you have no need to, this can help allot believe it or not.and also don't put your heat up to boiling, it won't kill you to turn your thermostat 5 degrees down than what you normally have. And some older people who are making profit from power plants and other pollutions don't care about anything but money, I'm not saying everyone doesn't care but some, they know that they are not going to be around during this event, they don't care about the future, just aslong as there happy. Please spread the word and copy and paste this into you journal so your friends can do the same, and send i link to this journal so your friends and click on th links given.

And before you say , "oh shes a crazy hippy freak, we don't have to listen to this", here are some shocking videos of global warming

First is the trailer to the move "An Inconvenient Truth" - [link]

And here are scenes from this movie:

*cough*

Alright, first off. If the oceans raised twenty feet, not that much would be underwater, seeing as a few miles inland is already 50+ feet above sea level.

Secondly, if you would actually do the research on Global Warming, from independant sources, you'd see that from studies done on the Earth's rocks, that Global Warming is a natural Earth cycle, occurring once every 10,000 years, give or take. The video you referred to is a completely and totally biased Liberal point of view.

Then, why do you go off on recycling? The last time I checked, recycling has nothing to do with Global Warming.

Also, you might want to check the FAQ, since this is more of an opinion story. Not news.

See, look. Magic FAQ.

FAQ #687: What is news and what is not news?

Al Gore's movie is more less of a joke. It was just to improve his image. Sure, he is telling a truth, but it's exaggerated.

Besides, by the time Global Cooling starts, we'll be long gone. It's going to take years and years. A reason why scientists are looking into this is because green house gases have started to make the process happen faster. It'll happen eventually. But most likely not in the next 100 years.

No no, here's the thing. There's a difference between belief and fact. Maybe you should look up those meanings, yes?
