Romania has a rough background- politically, economically; but because of this there are a lot of emotions to be captured in art, a lot of material to work with, a real triumph in adversity. Its people are humble and welcoming and enjoy life’s simple offerings. Its landscape chiseled but softened with the blanket of sparkling snow which never fails to make its yearly visit. And when it leaves, carpets of luscious green cover its steep hills and deep valleys. No two places look the same.

With much respect and pride, I present to you Romania’s traditional artists:
