Dear friends, In the animated atmosphere of gradually growing Vietnamese comics in the year 2009, I feel so surprised and hopeful about our comics in the future. The reason is that many young artists appear and show off their talents - That is everyone's long-awaited pride. Along with GreenFarm, Manzin and the forthcoming Truyện Tranh Việt Online, Vietnamese comics is believed to be better and move to a higher phase.
Therefore, in order to warm up the air as well as to creat an interesting and realistic activity for all young artists, basing on the idea of Kaboom Ink on DeviantART, =Clap-san and I really hope to lauch a campaign:
I wish and believe that this artbook will be supported by all of you. Lets show to the international friends the joy and unity of our Vietnamese-comics community! ^_^

I have many favorite artists on Deviant Art, but only a few stand out as being an inspiration...
We all have our dreams. Something that we reach for and hope we can attain. Jill, better known as eyepegus, is one of those artists, one who is reaching out for her dreams. It feels scary to reach out for a dream. She told me once. But when you see her work you know it's not just a dream, eyepegus is truly an artist. Being an artist is who you are, you are either motivated to be an artist or you aren't.
Jills' work can only be described as seeing an alternate reality, a dream come true. She works in the abstract but she has a very good eye, an eye that can go beyond seeing what is there and seeing the true expression of what lies inside. She weaves her art with gorgeous colors and an imagination that can only be possessed by an artist. We can see who Jill is through her strokes which she has carefully laid down. We can see her dreams, those dreams that push her beyond being another person doing their thing.
I hope you will all like her work as much as I do. She is surely one of those rare treasures to be found on DA. She is truly an inspiration.
A selection of eyepegus works.
Jill keep reaching for your dreams. You will always find support.
