With the holidays at hand, this can be a stressful time of the year. Everyone is busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. But do take a moment to check out these relevent glimpses into the future.
Murk will teach you how to be horrible. But in like, an empowering kind of way, that de-rails in to all sorts of tagental thoughts about the shifting morality of man in the urban age. And maybe what kind of cheese is good on crackers.
Most people would kill to know what their future holds. Fortunately, you don't have go quite that far. Consult these 'scopes and use this knowledge wisely. This is the straight dope. Honest. It took me something like 20 whole minutes to write this shit.
Drugs, a real problem for todays teens - it can affect all teenagers and honestly there is no place that it cant leak into. This problem doesnt only occur in the cities, or in so-called ghettos it happens here on the country sides and in the small town atmosphere. I know for a fact that many teenagers get sucked into the never ending battle of peer pressure and the in thing. However, this is a growing epidemic that can cost a teenager their life. I am sure that so many teenagers have been led to believe that drugs cant harm them, but to be very honest it may not only be the drug that will get you killed. Being involved with drugs can put you in a very unsafe environment, with very dangerous people that only care about that occasional high or rush they get from dope. They will go to any lengths necessary to get it, and taking your life is no exception. You see commercials on TV about talking to your child about drugs, but honestly how many parents will bring up that conversation and really have an in depth talk about the consequences of drugs. Also, what about those children that parents just dont give a damn one way or another. Ive watched first hand what happens to kids who get involved with the drug addictions, it happened to my ex-boyfriend and when he wasnt high he was aggressive and irritated. He became an abuser and took out fits of rage on me, he couldnt be happy without getting high. I left him, because he refused to be helped - I have spoke out and as of right now nothing is being done, because people simply just dont care. Look around you, there are lives that can be saved if those who matter would just step up and talk it over. Drugs are dangerous, but so are the people that use, sell, or abuse them. Dont give in to peer pressure, talk it out and try other ways to be active and get your mind off of all those issues which are tearing you down. Say no to drugs!
The statement 'say no to drugs because they are dangerous' is true, of course, but too simple. No one in the western world that is old enough to do drugs can say they have not known about the danger and the fact drugs can kill.
That's nothing impressive to teenagers from broken homes who are experiencing a never-known self-confidence, warmth, security, be free from any pressure, the feeling that nothing can hurt and no pain can harm. This is what hard drugs give them and the reason some refuse to be helped. Hard drugs also make them believe the danger is just for others, they personally are strong enough to avoid it.
When they realize the fact those feelings have a high price mostly it is too late to just quit. Saving teenagers from drugs begins with parents making their children strong and self-confident.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
