Director of Artist Relations


Hello!

The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. The Gallery Directors are the first people you should go to regarding your galleries. They are the people you need to make gallery suggestions to, and ask questions about your specific genre, or seek knowledge from. They also act as your lifeline to the administration. They are here to support and listen, and I can tell you we've got incredibly talented, devoted and passionate people on this team, so get to know them!

News

So many changes to report! Please help me in thanking `GH-MoNGo and `Karma021 for volunteering their time to help with Artist Relations, unfortunately real life takes over sometimes and both have stepped down.

Please join us in welcoming ^meanbones to the team, she will be joining ^FallenRox, ^Nico1 and ^guruubii on the film team!

We also welcome ^JunkbyJen onto the Digital Art team!

AND ^touchedvenus onto the Anime/Manga team...

AND I moved Street Photography into the main category flow for Photography and sat ^Obsidian-Fox at the hilt of that gallery!

^hellfirediva has moved over to Macro Photography and you should read her first article about gallery changes here

^opioid will be taking care of the Abstract and Surreal Photography galleries as well as the Fetish gallery she currently watches over

The New and Improved Film Application process!

The category issue that is the bane of my existence. Some of you have reported instances where your submissions are going to completely inappropriate categories. The new flow was updated earlier today and these problems should be fixed However, if you notice something is still wrong, please let me know.

Project Streamline is well underway and I'm currently working on the Community Projects gallery and then Skins and themes. Articles will come out from the gallery directors for those areas when it's complete so make sure you're paying attention.

Please help out my team by sending your daily deviation suggestions to one person only. There is great confusion caused when you suggest the same piece to multiple gallery directors. We appreciate it
