A friend of mine, *Flutterings came up with the idea to post a news story about mental illness in honor of the "World Mental Health Day", but with the day fast closing (at least in my time zone) and knowing she has a plethora of other things she is currently dealing with, I opted to post myself.
But my news article not withstanding, her original intent, and beautiful deviation commemorating the day and the essence should not be merely over looked, but seen and applauded ([link]).

In my short experience with Free Rice (I post this on the day of my discovery) - I have played for whats probably less then an hour, and donated around 1,000 grains of rice. Its so simply beautiful, and easy. All you have to do, is play - and for every word you get correct - feel the warmth of being smart, and the warmth of knowing that you just donated ten grains of rice too.
