Hi Friends!

I posted the following in a recent journal and the response I got was amazing:

"You know--We hear rants and raves and bitches and moans but I LOVE ...I really don't understand all the whining. No one has to stay part of this community. It is a huge Internet world out there...."

I got more responses than any other of my journal posts and 100% were positive about dA!! Can you believe it?

I have been saving some of the responses because I knew this project would be underway. Here is what some deviants said:

The project I would love to see everyone get excited about is the:

Giving Thanks Project.

It coincides with the USA Thanksgiving Holiday but it is a worldwide and dA Sitewide Project. There are 3 individual contests within this project. I hope that everyone finds something that they can participate in!

Site wide Giving Thanks ART contest

Accepting all deviations expressing deviant's "Thanks for DeviantART" and other things.

This is all about YOU. I want you to show me your thanks!
Not to me silly but to dA or anything you want. You get extra brownie points if it does represent your gratitude for dA and even more if you write a journal about it. Brownie points mean nifties gifties!

Help me encourage more positive overflowing responses of gratitude from the community regarding the community. The messages I received warmed my heart sooo much! I thank you!! The bad stuff was starting to bum me out! Sport the stamp too.

Thanksgiving Cornucopia Gift Basket

Ok, this is exciting and a time for us to do something for someone else! The object of this contest is for YOU to let us know about someone you think deserves to be thanked! Someone you think deserves to receive the Cornucopia Gift Basket...filled with goodies. Write the best letter, story or design your reason. (Literature preferred.)
